Jim's television career spans more than 30 years. He has produced more than 5,000 programs seen nationally and internationally that generated profits into the hundreds of millions of dollars. As an executive, he created and produced some of the top syndicated programming in the world, designing large infrastructures for productions well into the millions while managing hundreds of employees. Jim is the former executive producer and creator of Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight. In those positions he was responsible for the daily operations and content of those programs. His responsibilities also included the sales of those programs to television stations across the country and the recruitment of sponsors for the national commercials carried in the programs. In addition, he was involved with the consumer marketing for the programs.
Ted Hughes-Editor
Ted spent ten years as a video editor at The Disney Channel origination center in Burbank, California working on projects for directors such as George Stevens Jr., Mark Rydell & Steven Spielberg. He also worked as an editor for E! Entertainment Television and the ABC Network News west coast bureau. In 1999 Ted founded The Edit Corporation in Los Angeles, which provides production and post-production services. In 2004 Ted edited his third surfing film, the acclaimed surfing adventure, Second Thoughts, which won Surfer Magazine's 2004 Surfer Poll Award for Surfer Video of the Year. The 2005 December issue of Men's Journal called Second Thoughts "one of the best surf adventure DVDs of the past 40 years". Ted is currently collaborating with Fraser Heston on the documentary "Mother Lode-Behind the Scenes with Fraser C. Heston".
